The TrackCouture Story
Fresh, new line of racing fashions blows the doors off old NASCAR fan gear.
TrackCouture takes female race fan apparel up several notches with flattering cuts, popular styles and fun designs thus far unseen in the world of NASCAR.
It is a business concept born out of experience. When Lisa Heros and friends wanted to support their favorite driver at a race in 2004, they were disappointed with the shirts available for women. So Lisa decided to make her own for her and her friends.
"It was amazing," recalled Heros. "The entire day, people were coming up to us and asking to buy the shirts right off our back. No one had seen anything like what we were wearing and they all loved it – men and women. That experience really got me thinking."
"We did a bit of quick research and discovered just how many NASCAR fans are female," said Smith. "That, combined with our personal experience at the track, led us to believe that if there were better options out there, women would buy them. So we designed our own line."
