Hey Team TC! I just wanted to share a couple of pics with you from the upcoming movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2! The TrackCouture Race Royalty white tank is featured in the film, worn by "Tibby" (played by actress Amber Tamblyn!) Very exciting! Lisa :)

May 27, 2008:
Hey Team TC! We are back from Indianapolis! We took the TrackCouture trailer to the track for the Indy 500! It is the first time we have been in the trailer, and it was quite an experience! There were so many people at the race! Lindsey and I went in to watch the race for a few minutes, so that was very cool! Kathleen and I will be heading to Michigan in a couple of weeks for our first NASCAR race with the trailer- we are looking forward to it! Hope to see you there! Have a great week! Lisa :)

Good morning, Team TC! We just wrapped up a fun weekend in Memphis! We went with friends to the Safari Soiree at the Memphis Zoo on Thursday night, which was very cool. I spent the weekend at Memphis in May Music Fest to hear one of my favorite bands O.A.R. plus Fergie, Sheryl Crow, The Black Crowes, and a few others! O.A.R. was awesome! Lisa :)

April 28, 2008:
Hey Team TC! I just got back from a weekend in Nashville where I ran the Country Music Marathon! I finished in 4 hours, 45 minutes, and 4 seconds! I ran to raise money for the kids of St. Jude Children's Hospital with a program called St. Jude Heroes!!! I am glad the marathon is over- I have been training really hard for 4 months, so I am looking forward to a break from running for a little bit. I need to recover! I am looking forward to enjoying springtime in Memphis! See you soon! Lisa :)

April 17, 2008:
Happy Birthday, Sarah!

April 7, 2008:
Hey Team TC! Kathleen and I just got back from one of our best friend's weddings! Mary and Josh tied the knot this weekend at The Alluvian in Greenwood, MS and we had a blast! Mary has been to the races with us many times over the past few years, and she (and her husband) are big NASCAR fans! Mary is a Denny fan and Josh is a fan of the #24!
The race was great yesterday! Congrats to Carl Edwards for an awesome win! Looking forward to Phoenix!
We are very proud of the Memphis Tigers making it to the NCAA Championship game! The Tigers are playing awesome, so we are looking forward to watching the game tonight! GO TIGERS!
Congrats, Mary & Josh Parker! Lisa :)

March 4, 2008:
Hey Team TC! We just got back from the Vegas Race last night... the race was awesome! It was a lot colder than it was supposed to be, but it was still great! Congratulations to Carl! We saw Angie Harmon and Jason Seahorn at the track so that was pretty cool, too!
We are still exhausted from 3 nights in Vegas... we went to Stack and Jet in the Mirage Friday night, Tao in the Venetian Saturday night, and The Bank in the Bellagio Sunday night! We got to hang out with Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch at The Bank and then played Roulette with Denny and won some money!!! He must be good luck!!! Looking forward to our next race! We plan to be at Darlington in May for sure! Have a great week! Lindsey & Lisa :)

February 25, 2008:
Hey Team TC! We had a fun weekend in Memphis this weekend! Friday night, we went to the Grizzlies game and then out downtown with friends Meghan, Ryan, and Kris! I love going out downtown in Memphis! The Memphis Tigers are having an awesome season, so Memphis has been a lot of fun lately! Hopefully, the Tigers will be in the Final Four (and win)... they are awesome! On Saturday night, Kathleen and I hosted a Bachelorette Party for our good friend Mary! I hope she had a fun last night out with the girls! Talk soon! Enjoy the race this weekend! Lisa :)

February 12, 2008:
Hello, sorry it took me so long, but here are some pics from the Superbowl in Phoenix. We had a blast! On Friday we went to the Maxim party which was huge and really nice, on Saturday we went to the 944 party and saw Velvet Revolver play, and of course the game on Sunday was awesome! We sat in a box with Amare Stodemeire from the Phoenix Suns, he was super nice not to mention really tall! Nick Lachey and Jimmie Johnson sat in the box right next to us. After the game we went back to the FedEx hospitality suite and I didn't make it out from there bc I had a cold, but everybody else went to the Tao late night where they had a lot of fun. I was sorry I missed out! I am looking forward to the Daytona 500 on Sunday. Hope everybody has a Happy Valentine's day! Unfortunately, I don't have a valentine :( Kathleen

January 28,2008:
Hey ya'll! Hope everybody is doing well. It has been cold here in Memphis but the Tigers Are # 1 in college basketball so that's good! We here at TC are excited for the 2008 Nascar season to get underway! I also wanted to share a cool article from the Miami Herald about my little brother:
http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/story/395285.html I am so proud of him and can't wait to cheer on the Canes next season! I am headed to the Superbowl this weekend, so I will be sure and update when I get back. I still don't have a camera but I may get one before the weekend, otherwise I will just bum some pics from my sisters to share! Have a good week. Kathleen
January 7, 2008:
Hey everybody! I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! I spent mine here in Memphis and then headed to Miami for the Orange Bowl. It was a great game but it was unusually cold for Miami. They told us it was their "two day winter" while we were there! I went to the Redskins-Cowboys game the weekend before and that was a lot of fun, but also cold. I was so proud of the Redskins for making it to the playoffs and even though they lost to Seattle this weekend, I still think they had a pretty good season considering the injuries and the tragedy they experienced this season. I know it was a tough road but congratualtions to Coach Gibbs and my brother Coach Smith and all of the Redskins family. I will post pics when I get a chance, but first I have to scrounge them up from others because I don't ever take any myself. I am gonna get a camera soon though (hopefully)!- have a great week. Kathleen

January 1, 2008:
Happy New Year, Team TC! One of my best friends Campbell came in town from D.C. this weekend and we had so much fun! We went to the Liberty Bowl to watch Mississippi State play Central Florida- it was cccccccccccccold! My friends and I rung in the new year at Raiford's Hollywood Disco and are looking forward to the 2008 Season! Lisa :)
December 25, 2007:
Merry Christmas, Team TC! Enjoy a wonderful holiday with your friends and family! Lisa :)
December 19, 2007:
We celebrated my birthday last night. My friends and I went to dinner at my neighborhood favorite The Happy Mexican and then to my other favorite neighbor The Green Beetle Tavern. We kept the Beetle open pretty late for a Tuesday night, but it was worth it. We had so much fun! Lisa :)

December 17th, 2007:
Hey Ya'll! My sister Molly executive produced the film P.S. I Love You (in theatres December 21) and I went to the premiere out in Los Angeles on December 11th. All of the cast was there and it was really cool. It is a really good movie so everyone needs to go see it! You will laugh and you will cry and as an added bonus all of the men in the movie ( Gerard Butler, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Harry Connick Jr) are very handsome! The film is dedicated to my oldest sister Wendy who passed away in 2005. It is a beautiful tribute to her and I am so proud of Molly! We also had a premiere and after party here in Memphis which was a lot of fun. Harry Connick was so sweet to make the trip. I have included a few pics from the los angeles premiere and the memphis premiere/party. Enjoy! Happy Holidays! - Kathleen

December 10, 2007:
Hey y'all! I had a tacky Christmas sweater party last weekend at my place and we had a blast! Everyone came in tacky sweaters, so we looked fantastic! Everyone went all out in their costumes, so check out the pics below. It's almost Christmas! Lisa :)

November 21, 2007:
Hey y'all! Happy Thanksgiving! Kathleen and I went to Miami for the final race this weekend with our friends Mary and Nikki! We had a blast eating at Nobu (twice) and going to Mokai and Set. We saw a lot of drivers (Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin, David Stremme, Brian Vickers, & Casey Mears) celebrating at Set after the race, so that was very cool! Congrats to Jimmie Johnson... and to Jeff Gordon (he is a GREAT sport!)
Lindsey and I just finished decorating the store for the holidays and it looks great... and very pink! HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Enjoy the holidays! Lisa :)

November 15, 2007:
Hey y'all! Kathleen and I are heading to Miami for the final race with our friends Nicole and Mary! This weekend is my last chance to get some points for my fantasy NASCAR team "Get 'Er Done" and I am not sure who to put on my team yet! This has been a very exciting season and makes me look forward to 2008! Make sure to stock up on TrackCouture, TC Girl, and PitBaby for holiday presents! Enjoy the final 2007 race! Lisa :)
November 6, 2007:
Hey y'all!
We just got back from Dallas and had a great time at the race! We were on a news program at CBS 11 while we were there. We saw Vince Vaughn (and he is one of my favorites) when we were out on the track and he said HELLO to us... Lindsey got a pic (as you can see below!) That was very exciting!!! We also saw Dirk Nowitzki from the Dallas Mavericks at the race! Lindsey loves the Mavericks, so she loved it! We were in the #11 pit for the beginning of the race! Jimmie Johnson is on a roll! Talk soon! Lisa :)

November 1, 2007:
Hey y'all! I hope you had fun trick-or-treaing last night! We had some trick-or-treaters at the store, so that was fun! We went to the Grizzlies Home Opener against reigning NBA champs, the San Antonio Spurs. The Grizzlies almost won... it was up until the last few seconds! It was an awesome game (104-101) and the team is looking decent! My new favorite (besides Pau Gasol) is Juan Carlos Navarro (Pau's teammate from Spain)- he is fun to watch! Oh, and we saw Matt Dillon there... he is filming a movie here in Memphis with Kate Beckinsale and Noah Wyle. Very cool!
Anyway, we are enjoying the new TC Store down here in Memphis! Lindsey and I just put up our pink (of course) Christmas tree! It is awesome! We had a photo shoot yesterday for some new items that we are adding to the website, including a new pink onesie called "Sweet Ride" and the Team Edwards Raglan in logo colors! Be looking for those to be online soon!
We are heading to Dallas tomorrow for the race, so we hope to see you wearing TrackCouture at the track! Have fun! Lisa :)
October 31, 2007:
We had a blast at the Sam's Town 250 on Saturday! It was a long race (27 cautions!) but the weather was perfect! To celebrate a great day at the track, everyone came over to my house before we headed to our favorite place Raiford's. Lindsey and I went as Coneheads! It was hilarious! Happy Halloween! Lisa :)

October 16, 2007:
Hello Everybody! I just got back from spending the weekend at UNC ChapeL Hill. My sister Samantha, or Sam as we call her, is a senior there and it was her sorority Parents weekend. We arrived on friday and went to the opening of the new FedEx center for global education, it is a beautiful building and my dad made a great speech. I had a great time visiting with Sam and her friends as well as my parents,my sister Rachel, and my brother Cannon. On Sunday we flew up to Hargrave Military Academy for Cannon's football game against Lewisburg College. It was really hot and I got sunburned, but it was a good game and Hargrave won 30-9. Cannon passed for 476 yards! I am so proud of him and excited to see where he chooses to go to college. He has quite a few scholarship offers including Memphis, Miami, and Ole Miss, so we'll see.
The new store is great and we are looking forward to the Memphis Race and activities next week/weekend. The following weekend we will be at Dallas for the race which I am looking forward to as well. I will probably be at the redskins vs. falcons this sunday. Talk to ya'll later
!
October 4, 2007:
Hey y'all! Here's a look at our office! Hope you like it! Lindsey and I just talked with Memphis Sport Magazine for a feature they are writing on the new TrackCouture Store, so that is cool! Yesterday we unexpectedly filmed our store for a hotel commerciaI... that was exciting! AND, we went to the Memphis Grizzlies Open Practice to see how the team looks! We got to go down to the court and meet Coach I... we told him we are ready for the Grizz to have an awesome season! Did I tell y'all that we are making tees for our favorite team? Yep, TrackCouture will be in the team store at the FedEx Forum with 4 new tees for the Memphis Grizzlies! It has been a busy week!
We have had a lot of people in the store, so that is great! We are getting excited about the Sam's Town 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park on October 27th, so we are getting ready for that right now too! Have a great weekend! Enjoy 'Dega! I know there will be some TrackCouture at the track, so please send us some pics to team@trackcouture.com! Lisa :)

September 29, 2007:
Last night we kept the store open late so some friends could come by and see it. We had a great time! I think our store might be the new meeting place... we are on Main Street downtown next to all the restaurants! My pink bike that I ride to work everyday seemed to have everyone entertained! Mary and Brian (wearing the Racing Skulls cap below) both rode it through the store. I am here right now in the store... my friend Channing is in town and about to come by to check it out!

Channing in the NASCAR Tank & I Heart Logo 20 Tank!
We're going to the Blues Ball tonight here in Memphis, so I am sure we will have some fun pics from that to put up next week! It is going to be great... one of my favorite parties of the year! Guess I better figure out what I am going to wear! Have a great weekend! Lisa :)

September 27, 2007:
Last night, our Friends & Family Grand Opening Party was a blast! There were so many peopl in the store! Our neighbor Circa Restaurant catered the party, and it was wonderful! Everyone loved the new store... I will put up some pics as soon as I have some. The new PitBaby items were very popular as well as the corduroy TC logo caps! Even the boys bought the grey corduroy cap and a lot of koozies! The store looks great and we are very excited to open it today! Today is our first day to be open, so that is very exciting! Enjoy the Kansas race! Lisa

Kathleen and I went to DC last weekend for the Redskins / Dolphins game. We met my best friend Campbell up there for the game! Campbell and I walked down to the field with Leenie's sister Rachel and her friend Bitsy! It was so awesome! I could almost reach out and touch Clinton Portis and Fred Smoot! I have some great pics that I will share with y'all! I am also going to put some pics of the new office / store up, so you will have to check those out!

The NHRA is in town this weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park, so I hope to be able to check that out!

Hey y'all! It's been a busy week here in Memphis. My annual ELVIS LIVES Party was a blast! Everyone was dressed up- very fun! It was a great way to kick off Elvis Week in Memphis!
Well, as you know from Kathleen's diary... we had a very fun night last night! We met Dale Jr. and NHRA driver Brandon Bernstein at Graceland. Dale Jr., Brandon, and their friends were so much fun... we had a blast out on Beale Street! The new Elvis paint scheme on Dale Jr's car is very cool... you're going to love it! We were there for the unveiling of the car at Graceland, so we got to see it yesterday! I love Elvis, so I think it's awesome!
Lindsey and I are heading to Atlanta for market this weekend, so I will talk to you when we get back!
Take it easy! Lisa :)

August 14, 2007:
Hey ya'll! We've been pretty busy here at TC. Unfortunately I was really sick so I had to miss the Justin Timberlake concert at fedex forum but I heard it was a great show. On Thursday and Friday we had phot shoots to take pictures of our new products and to get new model shots. Lisa and I took some pics too so we will be updating the site with new pics soon ( i am very happy b/c i hate my hair in the old pics!). On saturday night Lisa had an elvis party and that was a lot of fun and then yesterday we went to graceland and we got to meet Dale jr.! We were really nervous, but he was really nice and cute! His friends and pr guys Jade and Mike were also really nice and we had fun meeting everybody. I brought Dale a Redskins hat as a present and I felt like such a dork after b/c the last thing he probably needs is another hat, but he acted like he liked it. I invited him to come to a game at Fedex field too so we'll see if he takes me up on the offer! Speaking of the Redskins, they won their first preseason game and I am so proud of my younger brother Arthur. He is a defensive quality control coach and the youngest coach in the NFL! here is a link to his bio: http://www.redskins.com/team/cprofile.jsp?id=5508. I am not sure what the next race I am going to is but maybe Fontana and I will definitely be going to the Redskins home opener on September 9th it is the day after Richmond and since Richmind and DC are so close, I may go to that race as well. I will keep you updated. I am going to the Nickelback concert monday at the forum so that should be fun. Lisa will be in Atlanta so she will have to miss it. Thats it for now! Have a great week!- Kathleen
oh yeah- I forgot to mention that Dale's Elvis car was really great looking! I think it would be awesome if he won at Richmond, then we would get to see the Elvis car in victory lane!

August 7, 2007:

Sonoma was a lot of fun, I went with my mom, dad, sister Laurie, Laurie's husband Steven, my brother in law Jeff, and my sister Molly. We got to go to a really nice dinner on Saturday night before the race in the caves at Pine Ridge winery, it was so pretty and the wine was good too! The race was a lot of fun and it was Jeff's first ever. Despite his initial reservations, he really enjoyed it. Here are a few pics from the race as well as a picture of my adorable niece Parrish modeling Pit Baby. Happy late 4th of July! -Kathleen

Hello Team TC! My Memphis Grizzlies got 4th draft pick last week, so we are all pretty bummed about that! It wasn't our lucky day, I guess!
Kathleen and I got back from 6 days in Charlotte yesterday, and we had a great time at the Coca Cola 600! Congrats to Casey Mears for his first Cup win- that was awesome! I also finally saw our article in Entrepreneur StartUps Magazine... it is on the newsstands now! When I walked in the coffee shop to buy it, there was a man reading it... that was cool. I was just hoping he didn't turn the page to us when I was standing there! Haha!
Oh, its NBA Draft Lottery Night, so I am hoping for a #1 pick for the Grizzlies! We would love to bring Oden to Memphis! We'll find out tonight- keep your fingers crossed!!! See ya, Lisa

Hey y'all! I am back from my weekend in Mississippi and had a great time with my friends. Julep was a blast... we stayed all night until they kicked us out! The wedding was great and so was the Beau Rivage- we went to the casino there after the reception. Biloxi is still a mess from Hurricane Katrina... it was amazing how many houses were gone from the coast. It was really sad and hard to understand the devastation until you see it in person. They are still struggling a lot down there on the Mississippi coast.
On another note, what a big day in NASCAR! Best of luck to Dale Jr. and his new team!!! See ya, Lisa

May 4, 2007:

Last week was a tough week and I want to extend my thoughts and prayers to all of the students and faculty returning to Virginia Tech today as well as to the family and friends of the victims. It is a terrible thing to lose someone you love and my heart goes out to everyone. - Kathleen
April 17, 2007:
First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my friend Sarah!
I had a great weekend in Baton Rouge and New Orleans! It was a quick trip down to Louisiana, but it was definitely worth the drive! Friday night In Baton Rouge, we ate at Juban's and then went out to Zeze's and Bogie's with all the LSU kids! It was a lot of fun! On Saturday in New Orleans for the BAchelorette Party, we had dinner at La Crepe Nanou and then went to The Columns and to F&M's... we had a blast with my friend Kelly on her last big night out with the girls!!!
Last night, Kathleen and I went to the last Grizzlies game of the season with our friends Mary and Sana... I am sad the season is over, but at least we won the game last night! Oh! I am signing up this week for the Chicago Marathon on October 7th, so that is exciting!!!
See you at the track! Lisa

Have a great weekend! I am heading to see a friend in Baton Rouge on Friday and then to my friend Kelly's Bachelorette Party in New Orleans on Saturday! I can't wait- I love New Orleans!
Texas is going to be a great race this weekend! I am sure there will be a lot of ladies wearing TrackCouture! I am back to 1st place in my fantasy league again!!! YAY! Lisa :)
March 30, 2007:
It's Friday! The Martinsville race should be a good one this weekend! I need to make up some points because I am now in 2nd place in my NASCAR fantasy league!!! As you might have noticed, I haven't bragged about it this week! Well... that's because I'm not in 1st place anymore!
I am going to watch the Memphis Redbirds opening night against the St. Louis Cardinals tonight- it's a great night for baseball! Tomorrow, I am heading to Jackson, Mississippi for my friend Milly's wedding! I get to see all of my good college friends there, so I am looking forward to it!
Kathleen and I won't be at Martinsville this weekend, but please be sure to send some pics in your TC gear to team@trackcouture.com and we will put them up! See ya! Lisa
March 22, 2007:
Hello! Yesterday was a great day! My good friend Harris asked me to come to a video shoot he was working on for rappers Al Kapone and Scat Cat! I love hip hop music! I got to meet them both and told them I wanted some TrackCouture in their next video! The song was great and the shoot was so awesome! I can't wait to see the video when it comes out!
Last night, Kathleen and I went to the Grizzlies / Lakers game with friends Meghan, Nikki, and Mary! We went out the Beale Street after the Grizzlies lost by 2. We celebrated the Memphis Tigers win that advanced them into the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tourney! Go Tigers!!! Lisa :)

March 15, 2007:
Good morning! Kathleen and I just got back from a whirlwind trip to NYC to be featured on Fox & Friends on the Fox News Network and on the morning show on the CW11 in New York. Our friends Campbell Engle, Laura Kessler, Stephanie Shaw, & Bitsy Metcalfe modeled for us on the shows! They were so nervous but we think they did an awesome job! Everyone had a good time and I feel that I am getting a little more comfortable in front of the camera FINALLY!
We also had appointments to meet fashion editors at Elle Girl, Shape, Us Weekly, and CosmoGirl! We are very excited to hopefully see TrackCouture featured in upcoming issues of those magazines and their websites!
It's my sister Anita's birthday, so I am headed to dinner with my family tonight! I am really looking forward to a fun weekend here in Memphis- my friend Laura (pictured below with me in NYC) is coming in town Friday. My good college friends Meghan and Lindsey just moved here to Memphis! We are going to go out tonight for a while. Some of us will go to the Grizzlies game on Saturday night! So much for my relaxing weekend... I am so tired!
Talk soon! Lisa :)

Hey y'all! Kathleen and I are on our way to New York after an awesome weekend with friends in Las Vegas! We ate dinner on Friday night at Stack in the MIrage and then went out at Jet. We had so much fun celebrating Kathleen's sister Molly's birthday! We saw Elliott Sadler and Kasey Kahne at Stack eating with friends!
We went to the race on Sunday and it was so gorgeous outside! We got all of our friends dressed up in TrackCouture and headed to the track in a Navigator limo! When we got to credentials, we saw Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo! We guess they were there to cheer on Jimmie Johnson! Then comedian Carrot Top walked up and we all fell out laughing! Hilarious! Dave Navarro was in the parking lot when we pulled up too. There were celebs everywhere we looked! I also spottted some TrackCouture at the race, so I ran up to meet the TC ladies! I got photos of them, which are in the Team TC Photo Gallery... so check it out! Oh yeah- I'm still beating the boys in my Fantasy NASCAR League! Have fun! Lisa

I went to my alma mater Ole Miss in Oxford today to speak to
Dr. Milorad Novicevic's management class at The University of Mississippi School of Business Administration. Wow, what a great group of students! I think everyone in the class asked a question or two. They actually got me thinking about things in my business that I have never thought of before, which is great! They were interested in every aspect of what we do here at TrackCouture. We talked about everything from my daily routine to TrackCouture's future plans. It was a great Management class and I hope the students learned something from me! I appreciate their attention and their genuine interest and enthusiasm! Best of luck to them in their final semester at Ole Miss! Lisa :)
March 5, 2007:
Good morning! I had a great weekend in Hattiesburg with my friends! Lauren & Joseph's wedding was unbelievable... and Al Green was a blast! I got to catch up with my college friends and take a little road trip through Mississippi! This is the first wedding of my 2007 wedding season! I look forward to all the weddings and parties, though, because I get to see everyone that I haven't seen in a while and some that I see all the time! My next wedding is in Memphis, so I don't have to travel for that one! Have a great week! Lisa

Hello Everyone! We have had a busy week here at TrackCouture! Yesterday, we were on the Mike & Mandy Show on 104.5 WRVR The River here in Memphis! We enjoy doing radio shows... it is a lot easier to talk on the radio than on live tv!
I am looking forward to the weekend! I am heading to Hattiesburg, Mississippi for my friend Lauren's wedding. It should be a great time- Al Green is playing for the reception! I love getting together with all my college friends, so I am really excited about it!
I hope the weather where you are is as awesome as it is here in Memphis! Enjoy the "off weekend" for Cup Series this weekend! Have fun! Lisa :)
Oh... thanks to Matt Kenseth's win, I am still beating the boys in my fantasy NASCAR league! Congrats, Matt!!!

February 22, 2007:
Hey everybody, once again it has been forever since I wrote on here! Lisa and I have had been pretty busy as you can tell from her last entry. We had a lot of fun at the Daytona 500! The night before the race we went to an awesome dinner put on by the FedEx racing team, it was a toast to Denny's great rookie season. Denny made a nice toast to his teammates and the Coach Gibbs made a toast- he promised that if Denny won the Championship, he would shave his head! At the end of the night my dad made a toast to JGR thanking them from everybody at FedEx. I couldn't convince him to up the ante and offer to shave his head too. He said he wouldn't do that even if my little brother Cannon won the heismann, he likes his hair too much. Speaking of football, I got to go to the Superbowl with my family and despite the bad weather, we had a blast in Miami. . When we got to the hotel on friday, people kept saying Jimmie Johnson was at our hotel and I was really excited to see the Nextel Cup Champion until my brother pointed out that it was Jimmy Johnson the sportscaster, not Jimmie the racecar driver! Later that night we went to a really cool party at a club called Mokai in South Beach where we got to do some stargazing. I thought I would share a few pics from my trip since Lisa already covered Daytona. The two really cute boys are my nephews who are obviously huge Colts fans! We will be in Vegas for the race, so hopefully we'll see some team TrackCouture members while we are out west!

February 19, 2007:
Hello Everyone! I hope you enjoyed the race on Sunday! Kathleen and I were at the track... it was awesome! Congrats to rookie David Ragan on his 5th place finish!!! David Ragan came to our launch party in May, so we are excited he is in the Nextel Cup now! Way to go!
Our interview on Studio B with Shepard Smith for Fox News was a blast! [I put our pic with Shep below.] We had no idea what camera to look at (which was quite obvious if you saw us on tv), but we enjoyed it nonetheless! Shep Smith was hilarious and I laughed the whole interview... especially when he asked me if women bought Carl Edwards gear because he is good-looking. I said that he is a great driver (and it doesn't hurt that he is good-looking!)
Talk soon! Lisa
PS... I am beating the boys in my Fantasy NASCAR League right now!

February 15, 2007:
Hey y'all! It has been a busy day here at TrackCouture as we are getting ready to head to Daytona in the morning after our photo shoot for Entrepreneur Magazine! Tomorrow after at 3:45 pm EST, Kathleen and I will be doing a LIVE interview on the show Studio B with Shepard Smith on Fox News. I am excited and nervous! Shepard Smith graduated from The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) like I did, so I have always wanted to talk to him! Now, I get my chance! I know those 4 minutes on live national tv will seem like the longest 4 minutes of my life! Hotty Toddy, Shep! We'll talk to you tomorrow!
This week, we were also asked to send tees and tanks for the Entertainment Weekly Celebrity Gift Bags for the Oscars, so that is very cool!!!
My Valentine Party was a blast last night... about 25 of my good friends showed up and stayed ALL NIGHT! Everyone had a great time!

February 12, 2007:
Good morning, Team TC! It is rainy here in Memphis and cold!!! Kathleen and I went to the Grizzlies game Saturday night with our friends. It was an awesome game and the Grizzlies beat the Timberwolves in overtime! Right now, I am getting the office ready for filming tomorrow for Fox News for Memphis and Tampa! Sometimes the office gets a little messy here! We are so excited about going to Daytona this weekend! It is such an awesome atmosphere for a race and I can't wait!
I actually joined a Yahoo Fantasy NASCAR League with some of my friends, so I am doing my homework on who is looking good for the race on Sunday! I asked the guys if they are ready to lose to a girl this season!!! Harris, Charlie, and Kevin... you better watch out! I am excited because I was in a Fantasy NBA League in grad school and haven't joined a league in several years. It should be entertaining... and I like the competition! I think Kathleen is going to join us! My team name is Get 'Er Done because I think it sounds tough!
I am having a Valentine Party for my friends on Wednesday night, so that should be fun! I think I invited more people than can fit in my place... but the more, the merrier! My place is decked out... hearts and cupids hanging from the ceiling and red and pink lights everywhere! I love to have parties and decorate, but I am an awful cook so my mom has to cook for me! Happy Valentine's Day! Lisa

Last night, Kathleen and I were invited to attend a dinner with our friends to show off our TC gear for the Salvation Army with guest speaker Darrell Waltrip! It was such a nice event and DW was an incredible speaker! I was asked to speak when we got there (and I was not prepared for that) and then found out I had to speak after DW! It was a tough act to follow a former two-time NASCAR Champion. And they had me on these 2 huge screens, so that freaked me out! My friends got a kick out of it though, so at least they were entertained. It was for the Salvation Army, so it was for a good cause thankfully! Have a great weekend! Lisa :)

Hey y'all! Kathleen and I went to DC last weekend to shop and go out . I got to go out with my friends Campbell, Anne, Emily, Michael, Roshan, and Greg- it was so much fun! I always have fun in DC!
I just wanted to say hello and let you know what we are up to! Kathleen and I had an interview with Entrepreneur Magazine this week for their April or May issue, which is very exciting! It is a huge honor to have a great magazine like Entrepreneur want to tell our story about starting TrackCouture!
This weekend, we will go see the Grizzlies play on Saturday night! Unfortunately, my favorite player Pau Gasol wants to be traded... that is a bummer! I hope we get someone awesome to replace him if he really gets traded.
3 and a half weeks 'til Daytona! Don't forget to order your TrackCouture now for the race!!! See ya! Lisa
January 24, 2007:
I just wanted to tell you about Wear Red Day... I hope you will participate!
February 2, 2007, is National Wear Red Day!
National Wear Red Day is a day when Americans nationwide wear red to show their support for women's heart disease awareness. The Heart Truth—a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease—created and introduced the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness in 2002 to deliver an urgent wakeup call to American women. The Red Dress reminds women of the need to protect their heart health, and inspires them to take action.
National Wear Red Day promotes the symbol and provides an opportunity for everyone to unite in this life-saving awareness movement by showing off a favorite red dress, shirt, or tie, or Red Dress Pin.

Hey Everyone! I hope you had a great holiday! It went by too fast! My nieces got some TrackCouture for Christmas, so that was fun! It is way too big for them (they are 5 & 6 years old), but they think the Checkered Star pink tank makes a great “tank dress!” They are so cute! I put their pics in the photo gallery!
I hope everyone received his/her Team TrackCouture newsletter and playing cards! If you are not in Team TC, you are missing out! Join us today!
I am taking off early to go see USC and Houston play in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl here in Memphis! It is always a great game and I go every year! I am still trying to get my New Years’ plans together for Sunday night. I am planning on going to Nashville with my friends! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!!! Talk to you in ’07! Have fun! Lisa

December 19, 2006:
Yesterday was my birthday! I went with fun goup of friends - Kathleen, Mary, Nikki, Adam, Brian, Brister, & Jason- to a Grizzlies game and then out on Beale Street! The Grizzlies are my favorite NBA team! Kathleen and I go to a ton of games with our friends! We are BIG fans! After 2 overtimes, we beat the Sonics! It was an exciting game... a great treat on my big day! Happy Holidays! Lisa
November 29, 2006:
Hey Everybody! Kathleen and I are about to have interviews with The Orlando Sentinel and The Chicago Sun Times! We have been traveling so much these past few weeks - Las Vegas, New York City, & Miami!
In the airport on the way to Las Vegas, I picked up a Country Weekly...there was a pic of country singer Coley McCabe wearing our pink TrackCouture logo tank! It was so awesome- we had no idea that would be in there! Thanks, Country Weekly!
The Homestead-Miami race was great! Our friend Mary went with us (she went to Sonoma with us in June.) Mary has become a big fan of NASCAR and of Denny Hamlin. Mary & I went to buy #11 baseball caps at the race and Denny's mom was working the trackside trailer! She sold our hats to us! Mary and I also saw Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey and Taylor Hicks at the race! Mary sent a txt that said, "lisa loves dale" to the Nextel Screen- it was hilarious. The pic is below. We went to a great party after the race that night at the Versace Mansion in South Beach! Brooke Hogan performed; Hulk Hogan and his wife enjoyed the party as well! Denny Hamlin, Michael Waltrip, and Dale Jarrett were there too! There were several other drivers out the night in South Beach! It was a great way to end the season!
We are also about to launch the new look of our website, and we are very excited. It is going to look awesome, so be sure to check it out!
We are sad that the season is over, but enjoyed it so much! Can't wait for Daytona 2007!
Don't forget that TrackCouture makes a great holiday gift!!!
Have a great week! LISA

October 30, 2006:
Hey y'all! Kathleen and I just had a great weekend at the Sam's Town 250 here in Memphis and a fun Halloween party on Saturday night! We sold TrackCouture gear trackside at the race and had so much fun! It was great to meet all of you who came up to introduce yourself. A bunch of friends helped us out at the track on Saturday (bright and early) and then we went out to celebrate that night! We had a news appearance on Fox 13's Good Morning Memphis show on Wednesday, so that was cool (but we always get so nervous!) Below is my friend Mary, Me, & Sarah posing with the General Lee at the Sam's Town 250! Congrats to Kevin Harvick for winning the Memphis race and to Tony Stewart for winning Atlanta!
Happy Halloween!

October 24, 2006:
Hey ya’ll, sorry it took me so long to put my entry up. Lisa is much better about this type of stuff, but we have been really busy getting ready for our first trackside venture this weekend at Memphis Motorsports Park. We are really excited and I think it will be a lot of fun, but it has been a lot of work getting prepared. Anyone in the area should definitely come by since we will be selling our super cute TrackCouture apparel as well as Roush, JGR, and MB2 driver apparel!
Back to the Charlotte trip, Ganassi Ladies' Night was a lot of fun and had a nice turn out. Everybody who works there is so nice and supportive, so we are really excited to be working with them! David Stremme even stopped by for a minute. I am sure he had to come by the shop for work reasons, but Lisa and I prefer to think he came by just for TrackCouture! Lisa met him last May at our launch party, but it was my first time to meet him, so I was really excited. It is funny how different the drivers look in regular clothes because I am so used to seeing them in their firesuit. All in all, I would say the night was a success!
The race on Saturday was a lot of fun too. My sister and two of her friends drove up from UNC Chapel Hill to go with us and we had a good time. We were down in Denny’s pit when he had some problems on the first lap, so that was no fun, but the FedEx crew and Denny did a great job repairing the car and getting back out there. They really have an awesome team all around and I am so excited for them to be in the Chase. They have definitely earned their success! As far as other drivers, my favorite guy (besides Denny of course) Elliott Sadler blew his motor so I was sad for him, but I think he will have a much better season next year. It has taken some getting used to, but he looks good with his new team.
Sunday, my sister and I went to DC for the Redskins game. It was a disappointing loss, but I still love the redsksins. After that, I headed back to Memphis and we have been getting ready for the Sam’s Town 250 ever since. Don’t forget to stop by and say hi if you are at the race!
Until next time,
Kathleen

September 13, 2006:
Kathleen and I just got back from Richmond! It was such an exciting race to see who would make the Chase! We cheered for all the TrackCouture drivers, including Denny Hamlin! Denny is the 1st Rookie to make the Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup! CONGRATS to Denny & the #11 FedEx Racing Team!
My good friend Campbell Engle came along for the Richmond race. It was her first race and she said it was "the neatest thing she had ever done!" Campbell is our newest NASCAR fan- she can't wait to go back to another race!
I also got to meet Harlequin author Pamela Britton, author of In the Groove and On the Edge! I saw her in the #16 Greg Biffle pit box and had to go introduce myself! I have read both of her Harlequin NASCAR novels! I just read the latest On The Edge at the beach last week with my friends! She's so fun- we had a blast!
CONGRATULATIONS to all the drivers in The Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup! This is going to be an exciting Chase!!!
Have a great day,
Lisa

The TrackCouture Launch Party & Charity Poker Tournament in Charlotte was a huge success! Some of our favorite drivers Denny Hamlin, David Stremme, and David Ragan joined us for the party and poker! The winners of the poker tournament won $50,000 each for the charity of their choice! The winners Andy O'Hara and Lindsay Farkash donated their winnings to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital! It was an amazing night!

August 2005:
Ok, I am about to share my most embarrassing day ever with y’all. After a little coaxing from Kathleen, I decided my humiliation at the Indy 500 was too funny not to share. Here goes…
Kathleen and I went up to the Indy 500 in August 2005 with her family. I had been to the Vegas race in 2004, but I had not been in the garage area. So I get ready for my first race down in the pits and in the garage… I have on my top (with short sleeves to “cover my shoulders”) and a skirt. I had gone to the mall the night before to get my “closed toe shoes” for the garage area.
I am eating breakfast and one of the FedEx racing people comes up to me and asked if I was going to change before we went to the track! I thought… “Do I look that bad? I mean, I am a little tired.” That was when I learned that you cannot wear shorts or skirts in the garage area (and I was definitely not going to miss out on that!) No one told me I had to wear pants! Ok, so… I have no pants or jeans with me. It is 9 o’clock Sunday morning, so there are no stores open. I was out of luck.
Sana from FedEx Racing had the idea for me to wear hotel staff pants. I seriously thought she was kidding! The pants were navy blue, pleated, polyester, and not boot-cut. They were the most hideous pants I have ever seen… and extremely hot and uncomfortable! Did I mention that they were awful!? Well, I did it anyway. The people who weren’t laughing at me, including the hotel staff, felt sorry for me. It was unreal! Anyway, I found out that I could wear my skirt in the suite… all day, I kept changing my clothes (pants for the track and skirt for non-track)! Exhausting!
When we were invited to go to the drivers’ meeting, I - temporarily forgetting my polyester pants- jumped at the opportunity. Kathleen passed on going because she wasn’t sure what it was exactly. I was walking in right behind my favorite Dale Jr. and I stepped back – there was NO WAY I was going to meet Dale Jr. in those pants! Anyways, I go with the FedEx Racing people and- of course- we sat on the 3rd row! Kasey Kahne was directly behind me… I think I saw him catch a glimpse of my pants! I tried to use my purse to cover my pants as I took my seat, but I think I just made it more obvious.
Needless to say, I have no photos to share from that day. As I stood on the track listening to the national anthem, I thought “several hundred thousand people can see me in these pants right now… and millions on television if they flash the camera this way.” I wear pants, sleeves, and closed-toed shoes now at every race- LESSON LEARNED!
Tony Stewart was awesome that day!
Lisa :)
